Precision Lymphatic Therapy
Human touch can and does work miracles in the human body and mind. This is one area that cannot be duplicated or truly replaced by a machine. A machine can be useful as an addition to manual therapy. Precision Lymphatic Therapy supports the immune system and full body healing. A very important part of the treatment is the relaxing, peaceful atmosphere we provide that supports healing from within.

Manual Lymph Drainage Therapy uses special light techniques to move lymphatic fluid. Using these techniques my associates and I can detect the specific rhythm, direction, depth and quality of the lymph flow anywhere in the body. We use our hands to perform Manual Lymph Mapping (MLM) of the lymph vessels to assess the overall direction of lymphatic circulation, areas of stagnation, and the best alternate pathways for draining lymph fluid.
Electro-Lymphatic Decongestive Therapy and LTU-904 Low Level Laser Therapy is an accelerated method to break down congested lymph. These frequencies gently penetrate deep into the body to help reduce fluid built-up, pain, inflammation and promote lymphatic flow, detoxification, cellular function and tissue regeneration. LTU-904 is the only laser that’s been cleared by the FDA for post-mastectomy lymphedema treatment.

The emerging importance of lymphatics in health and disease: an NIH workshop report, 2022
Changes in normal lymphatic function can alter multiple systems in the body and manifest as different and varied pathologies. There are many conditions related to lymphatic dysfunction within all body systems. Hematological malignancies were not included because the focus of the workshop was on understudied diseases of the lymphatic system. Various NIH Institutes or Centers currently fund lymphatic research.
Analogy: Lymphatic System vs. Brick Wall
with and without Mortar
Dr. Stanley Rockson, Cardiologist, Stanford University:
The mortar is the lymphatic system, the brick wall is the body.
The function of mortar in a brick wall

Impact of Mortar on Brickwork
Mortar is a bonding agent in masonry construction. The mortar plays a crucial role in brickwork by providing the necessary bond and stability. It holds the brick wall together.

Mortar is fragile. If it is not maintained properly, it can fail, leading to cracks, crumbling and water infiltration and even wall collapse in severe cases. To prevent the mortar from failing, it is crucial to maintain the mortar’s condition and address any signs of deterioration promptly.

The same principle applies to the lymphatic system.
Lymphedema is a chronic progressive inflammatory lymphostatic disease caused by mechanical failure of the lymphatic system. About 10 million Americans are estimated to live with lymphedema, about 1 in 25 people. Lymphatic Education & Research Network. Lymphatic Education & Research Network.
Lymphatic dysfunction can contribute to or worsen many illnesses and major diseases.
The lymphatic system is an important and often underestimated component of the circulatory, immune and metabolic system.
1. The lymphatic system is a specialized network of lymph nodes, vessels, tissues, and organs that functions as a key subsystem of the circulatory system. It maintains fluid balance in the body by returning excess interstitial fluid (the fluid that surrounds cells in all body tissues) to the bloodstream, preventing swelling (edema) and maintaining proper hydration.
2. As a vital part of the immune system, the lymphatic system plays a central role in clearing inflammation, filtering lymph (interstitial fluid) through lymph nodes, detoxifying the body by removing pathogens, cellular debris and mold-related toxins. Lymph nodes produce, store and release immune cells, especially lymphocytes (B and T cells). The more lymph flows through the lymph nodes, the more lymphocytes are being produced, enabling them to detect and destroy invaders like bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi and abnormal cells (cancer cells).
3. The lymphatic system is found to be essential in regulating lipid metabolism by absorbing and transporting dietary fats and fat-soluble vitamins (A,D,E,K) from the small intestine to the bloodstream so they are available for use by the body.

NIH, Lymphatic diseases manifest across the human body
NIH National Commission on Lymphatic Diseases (NCLD)
NHLBI (National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute) helps launch the first NIH (National Institute of Health) National Commission on Lymphatic Diseases, March 1, 2024
Originally thought of mostly as “the body’s waste removal system,” the lymphatic system was found to be essential in regulating lipid metabolism and fight viruses, bacteria, and even cancer and dementia.
